Blue Hues Modern Throw
Skill Level: Beginner+
This lovely blanket is full of wonderful texture, but is surprisingly easy to crochet! It uses a few basic stitches and is a simple one row repeat (after the initial chain and setup row), making it the perfect project when you need a bit of relaxation (or to get some audiobook time in).
I’m obsessed with the drape of this throw, and love how neat the edges are - no border needed!
I’ve written the pattern to create the blanket in two colors (blue and grey), but experiment with your own color combinations, or crochet the entire blanket in just one color, whatever you like!
I used a medium / 4 weight yarn for my blanket and for the pattern - check out the supply list below for the specific yarn/hook to use.

The Pattern!
Here is the written pattern for the Blue Hues Modern Throw. Please note that in this and all of my patterns, US Stitch Terms are used! Note that row 2 is the “pattern repeat” row. If you’re not changing colors for your throw, you’ll simply repeat row two until you’ve completed the total number of rows for the project.
